One of the few "original" Pink Jacket Tipsters. A Tipster who has
pursued the title quietly and with honest persistence. A Tipster
who went so close so many times, and finally, after 7 consecutive
challenges, in the 1999 NPC PJTC...
grabbed the victory he so deserved. And a Tipster who has devoted so
much time and
effort to the technical advancement of the Pink Jacket
Tipping Comp.
"Funkalot" has dedicated an enormous level of service to the Pink
Jacket Tipping Comp. He is the brains behind pushing one button and
getting the results you were looking for. He sits on the
Board for two reasons... firstly, because he's been a
committed Tipster for so long, and secondly because it's a great
program. He doesn't get involved in the various
dramas and controversy that we usually like to harbour within the
comp... he is a wise man. He is the Wizard of the Pink Jacket Tipping
Comp. He doesn't say much and sightings are rare. It has often been
speculated that he doesn't actually exist in the material form, during
the 1999 NPC PJTC he became known as
"Virtual Funk", and we worried that he had become the program... (that
had him eventually win?!)
Little is known about this elusive tipster, but he comes in damn handy.
