Since the beginning of the comp Foreigners have offered little or no threat to the title, and in a sportsmanlike gesture of fair play this award is often their only reward for participating.  Only once have we offered a monetary prize for this achievement, as it depends on their numbers. Part of this award is out of respect for the now extinct Melbourne Tipping Comps previously run by our highly respected member of the Board, Errol. Part of it was to offer compensation for the fact that they seem to be severely handicapped in their tipping abilities.

Note: Furrinher was the first Foreign Tipster to place in the PJTC.  Going into the Super 12 Final he held the lead and revealed later that he was only tipping according to the sound of teams' names or their colours.  Had he realised that the Canterbury Crusaders (who went on to win the Final) wore the colours of his Ozzy Rules team (The Bombers), he would have tipped them to win it.  He didn't, and he went on to drop to third.
