    I believe there many be 4 older children born to Randolph & Biddy LANE before  the birth of Elias Lane due to the fact that Randolph & Biddy married abt 1825. It is unlikely that the couple waited 6 years to begin their family. The following  individuals appear to have remained in somewhat close proximity to the 'family' in  their migration from TN -> MO -> AR & beyond.
1. Samuel b. abt 1825
2. John R. b. abt 1826
3. Abraham b. abt 1827
4. Winnie b. 1828 ................ all 4 b. in Tennessee
