Moses lived a full life & was rumored to be quite a character. We find him living in Iron Co., MO, in his younger years; in Shannon Co., MO in 1885-86, Randolph Co by 1900 eventually following his siblings to reside in AR for the rest of his days.
He fought in the Civil War on the side of the South 'War of Rebellion', Co 'H', 15th Mo Calvary as a 3rd Lt. He was among the men who surrenderred at Jacksonport in 1865. He was a Justice of the Peace & belonged to the Brotherhood of Masons. His 5 marriages produced a total of 11 children. In 1919, Moses entered the Confederate Home in Little Rock, AR & died there at 79 years of age.
