Well, I guess I just needed a break from the rat race at home. I sold my house, got rid of much of my stuff, put the stuff I wanted to keep in several attics and took a six month leave of absence from work and went on a mission trip to Piura, Peru.

I went to Peru to work for the Catholic parish of Santisimo Sacramento, which is sponsored by several Catholic churches in the United States, including my parents church, St. John the Baptist in Edmond, OK. Father Joe is from the Oklahoma City area, although he was ordained in the Pirua dioceese. I created this page to show my friends and family what I did in Peru from May, 2005 through October, 2005.
