Why men and women are different...
In utero the fetus of a boy and girl are the basically the same until a marvelous thing occurs, while kicking back in the amniotic fluid, that is home for a male, is suddenenly supercharged with testosterone. This is what eventually makes a male aquire all of the atributes associated with maleness. One of these atributes is our apparent inability to think like a woman does... (no snide remarks here) the testosterone has an effect on the actual structure of the male brain. Testosterone causes many of the neural pathways between the left and right halves of the brain to disappear.
What this means is that unlike women, men are designed to function from one side or the other of their brains. (no comments about halfwits) Whereas woman see everything from an emotional and logical texture at the same time. Men (most of whom live in the rational side) only see the rational implications. Women are more likely to "feel" the appearence of their homes and families reflect on them persoanlly, men are far less likely to see things in this way. The men have totally separate feelings.... women see things "globally" and men see things "linearly".
In order to see things from a womans point of view a man must "shift" gears to his "emotional" side. This is often very complicated... especially if he is involved in analyzing the "situation". It requires him to actually stop thinking, transition over to the "emotional" side of his brain and readdress the situation, unfortunatly men so rarely have to do this in their business lives that they are not very good at it.
If a woman wants a man to see the emotional ramifications of a situation she can "help" her halfwit, I mean man, by bringing him to his emotional center... this can be done by posing examlpes that he can relate to. This is usually things from his past that she knows had an emotional effect on him. So it is important for her to know a lot about his emotional past.
So... men and women are very different, God must have intended it to be that way. A woman can rip and shred a man in an argument, apparently at will.& This is not a loving thing to do to a halfwit.
So guys... try to understand (not likely considering our limitations)... and gals... do the same (more likely to happen) |
