About Peterbald
Peterbald
are a pleasure to have as a companion.
Those
are my firts PD in 1999
They
are part the most intelligent, graceful and beautiful breed
of domestic cats. They have wonderful personalities, following
you from room to room, like a puppy, "talking" to
you with every step. They are people friendly & tolerant
of other household pets.
They
are one of the more UNIC bald and sleek new breed of cats and
their care are not difficult.

Peterbald
cat are like an oriental cat which appears to be hairless. They
are a breed that could show different degrees of baldness in
adulthood. Most of them born with hair and later of a few days
became to lose it. The Peterbald are in same cases hypo-allergenic,
because those cats most have not same specific "enzymes
or proteins". They have not hair to make you sneeze or
your eyes watering.
If
you are given the opportunity to see one of these cats, please
do it, it will be well worth the time spent.
Description
The
Peterbald is distinguished from the other two bald/hairless
breed of cats because is a graceful, more elegant medium boning,
lean svelte body, long and fine legs with firm musculature.
They have a long whippy tail, oval feet, wedge-shaped Oriental
heads with a long muzzle and flat cheekbones and large and low
ear-set directed apart. Plus a delicate skin warm, elastic,
velvet or "chamois-like", same times totally hairless
cats are "rubber or gummy".

Cats
younger than two years of age may have a soft, wavy coat along
any or all of the body. True baldness begins from the head,
neck and upper part of the back. If any coat remains it is short,
soft, and wavy on the extremities - the muzzle, base of ears,
forelegs, feet, or along some or all of the tail.
They
are found in a wide range of colors and patterns, including
color point, Silvers, Cinnamon and Bicolor.

This
kitten had born white like a siamese and with the time became
to pigmet in a different way. It had finish like a black velour
Pd with Turquasee eyes.
 
 
Eye
color is generally conforms to the coat (skin) color. They are
lively, intelligent companions.
The
overall impression of an “Ideal Peterbald” is a
slender mid-sized cat very elegant, svelte and intelligent.
It has a sturdy, well muscled, with long tapering lines that
contributes to its graceful movement.
Personality
Peterbald
usually have sweet temper and are very friendly.
They
are curious, outgoing, smart, playful and very affectionate
cats. They are same times energetic and dynamic and other peaceful
cat. They love warm places, take sunshine bath and to be under
the covers.
Their
Oriental blood part fluid in their veins and give them they
inherited dog-like attachment to their owners but they are not
as noisy and they can easily stay in a small place like a flat,
not like their blood brothers. They love to communicate with
people, because they are very intelligent and do not belong
to an independent kind of cats.
They make friends easily with their human companions and other
animals, especially dogs. They make excellent loving companions.
