Dawn and AJ had been best friends since Junior High. They drifted apart when his career took off and she got involved with a possessive and controlling man. It was three years later when AJ drifted back into Dawn's life again. His band, the Backstreet Boys, decide they need backup singers for their next album. AJ immediately thinks of Dawn, who had a very promising singing career ahead of her. When he gets in contact with her, she’s not the same person he knew years ago. The woman he knew was strong, independent, and determined. The woman he knows now is scared, self conscious and has given up on a music career. What happened to her?
