2004: On to the Conch Republic, the Florida Panhandle, and Mardi Gras
We left Lady Lake on January 4 and started our trip towards Key West, the Gulf coast, and the start of the return back home.

First we went to Titusville and saw the Astronauts Hall of Fame, then to several coastal state parks. We spent a night in Florida City and then drove down to Key West for 4 days. From there we came back to Florida City and then across the Tamiami Trail. We stopped at several state parks in souteast Florida, visited Penny's cousin in Venice, and then several nights near Tarpoon Springs. After that we headed back over to the Orlando area for two motorcoach rallies.

From there we headed to the Florida Panhandle and several state parks right on the Gulf of Mexico.

From there we stopped in Mobile Alabama, and at Buccaneer state park in Mississippi.

Then it was on the Lafayette Louisiana for a week of Mardi Gras fun.

From Lafayette we crossed Texas and spent  awhile in Arizona.

Then we headed to California, visited family, tasted wines, and went to an appointment with the Monaco factory service center.

We arrived home after 7 months and 17,000 miles on the road.
