MEETING MAY 20, 2000 Club was small for this spring meeting, as only 3 members were able to make it. Other engagements, and some very unfortunate circumstances prevented the other 2 members from attending. Lisa, we all hope that things work out with your boat. Nonetheless, we sampled very interesting lager, Belgian Ale, blonde dopplebocks, and an interesting cherry beer. We gabbed until quite late about families, and about plants. Heidi gave us a tour of the garden early in the evening, and was even though club hadn?t started, was having trouble with identifying plants. Actually, I was just asking too many damn questions and she was chilly. We were gifted with a home brew from Heidi's neighbor in a cool corked-typed bottle. It was a delicious nut brown ale that was quite tasty (Heidi, I hope you thanked him!). We sure did miss having the whole gang together. Heidi had also planned for us to make beer.
