P.A.L.S. 2nd
Annual Round Robin The evening of December 18th went off without a hitch. There were, however, a couple of glitches. First, we were minus one of the club members; we missed her and her significant other. Sorry for her that she missed the evening. Second, and a bigger glitch (don't kill me for this), all the wonderful photos I shot were for naught. I had no film in my camera!!!!! What a blow!! If anyone else took any pictures, please get copies for me (I don't recall any other flashing). I guess it just adds another verse to the song "It's the most wonderful time . . of the beer (or year)!" There was much merriment at each house. We had fab Black Lager at Lisa's, yummy Scarlett Lady Ale and (can't remember) at Denise's, a seasonally smashing Scotch Ale and a winter beer at Heidi's, and I had my favorite of this year, the robust Autumnal Fire. There was also generous gifting going around. Thanks to all . . . it was fun!! I'm sure the "guys of beer club" had a good time too (some more than others). We'll never forget. "I love beer club", and are looking forward to the promised ride on the river. Next year we must start on time and, who cares how late it goes!! Next meeting is scheduled for January 15, 2000.
