| Rarely do I like jazz, but when I was younger, I heard this jazz singer sing her signature song (as far as I'm concerned) entitled "Sunlight". It's such a soothing and timeless song that more than ten years later, when I listen to it for the umpteenth time, the song does not seem to age (I could cite several songs that sound "old" after a while: Bette Midler's "From A Distance", Whitney Houston's "Greatest Love Of All"...you get my drift).
I have yet to remember other Kevyn Lettau songs that I like. I can't seem to remember any other than Sunlight. It is fascinating to note that despite this song being sung by a woman, several guys I know actually like it. It's nice to know that my taste in songs can be genderless. |
