The kiddie show commonly referred to as animation a.k.a. cartoons has been a part of my life ever since I was a child, and this is no surprise, as most kids exposed early on to the ravages of a television set are prone to have such. My earliest memories of animations that I have watched date back to The Super Friends (the earliest attempt at Justice League), Care Bears, Raindow Brite, Scooby Doo and Smurfs. Back then, I told myself I would never get tired of watching cartoons, even when I'm old and wrinkled. Perhaps this thought was brought on by the fact that the adults in my life around that period were just so disinterested in watching animation, I was outraged for my part that they didn't recognize art when they see one.
I'm not yet old and wrinkled, but I now understand the sentiments of those adults. I remember attempting to watch some shows in the Cartoon Network, and while The Power Puff Girls are just so cute (my favorite is Bubbles), with my current level of intelligence, I sometimes fail to grasp the humor and the entertainment factor of these shows.

Of course, that is not to say I have given up on animation completely. Below are some of the animation shows/movies that I know I would still be watching twenty years from now, and wouldn't even mind watching with my grandkids.

DISNEY'S SLEEPING BEAUTY
DISNEY'S THE LITTLE MERMAID
DISNEY'S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST
BATMAN THE ANIMATION SERIES
SUPERMAN THE ANIMATION SERIES
