I was trying to remember what the Jdorama was that I first watched. Hana Yori Dango comes to mind. I don't think Bioman and Shaider, the two memorable Japanese television shows that I watched, classify as drama (read in Wiki that they are labeled "tokusatsu", or series about super heroes). But hey, I absolutely love Bioman and Shaider as a kid. They were part of my growing up years. I actually had a kiddie crush on Red One. Heh.

Then I suddenly remembered that I watched Gokusen before Hana Yori Dango. Nakama Yukie's Yankumi made me realize that Japanese dramas are worth downloading gigabytes for.
