Back when I was in high school and with limited allowance money, I absolutely loved to read. Now, when I have the finances and with the advent of the Internet, reading is fast losing its glamor, which kind of puts me in panic mode. I did try to read some books lately, most of which, to my horror, are now gravitating toward self-help and inspirational paperbacks.I did manage to read a couple of paperbacks of the romance variety (I'm from the generation of Judith McNaught and Julie Garwood readers) and which are worth mentioning. |
