Is that your real name? 'Course not.
How did you come up with that name? I had no problem thinking up of a name to use in cyberspace. When I was in high school, I like all things classical ballet. (No, I don't dance. I am just mystified with the costume and the music and the story classical ballet presented.) That time, Paloma Herrera was getting so much attention; she's principal now of the American Ballet.The name Paloma is unique, and it suited the culture I was born in (go figure). So I stuck with Paloma and changed Herrera to something phonetically closer (Helena is a good middle name as any).The surname, I have been toying around in my mind for quite a long time. Then I watched this soap opera in our local television, about a clan of elite people called the Sangres. I thought the surname cool. So the name Paloma Helena Sangre was born. It was only later when I learned that Sangre literally means "blood" in Spanish. Doesn't matter though. I love my cybername. If only my real name has that much imagination.
Age? Old enough to plan for my retirement.
Are all the things you've been talking about (or planning to talk about) in this site the only stuff that you care about? Of course not. I care for world peace. I care for the environment. I am horrified that polar bears are drowning because of global warming. I love well-behaved cats (I have two). I'd probably talk about the other things that I like some time, like Sims2, chocolates, my mp3 player (which now contains the Twilight audiobook), among other things.
Are the information here comprehensive? They are comprehensive as far as the things that interest me. For something more in-depth, including trivia information people (like me) seem to love so much, I entrust Google for that.
What made you decide to build this webpage? I have been wanting to create one for a long time, just to share the things that I find interesting or exciting. I finally decided to get down to it when I saw a fan made music video of one of my favorite Jdoramas of all time (Kamisama Mou Sukoshi Dake). The video is so well-made (see video here), it reminded me of how good the drama is, too, and I really wish that many people would get to see it. (As of this writing, our local television network is showing a dubbed version of Kamisama. Oh, joy!) So I figured I have to start building this webpage or I'll never get around to it, perhaps until I'm old, wrinkled and retired, and by that time, my interest in Jdoramas would have waned.
Why are there classical artwork in some pages? I am always a fan of classical visual art, particularly those with romantic and whimsical themes. Aside from the fact that they are beautiful, I also want to encourage appreciation for this kind of art. Most of these pictures I got from the Artmagick website.
