He liked to think of himself as a "clutch player", which meant he could stay cool under pressure. He lived up to his name, keeping a cool head in the most harrowing of situations. The only situation in which he lost his cool was when his fiance, Linda, was killed in a bridal shop robbery. Chris Kelly was present and had to make a spilt-second decision about whether to tend to a woman out in the main area, or try to make a run for the dressing room where Linda was. She chose to attend to the woman and only later realized that Linda had been shot when the gunmen sprayed the place with bullets. Victor was devastaed by Linda's death and let his grief and rage overtake him, resorting to illegal procedures by which to capture the men responsible for killing Linda. He was kicked off the police force and the Pacific Blue unit never heard from him again until he showed up in town and killed a man who was robbing a bar he happened to be a customer at. He met up with a woman trying to regain custody of her daughter, Serenity, and decided to champion her cause. Victor held her ex-husband hostage and forced him to allow Serenity to go back to her mother. The two fled to Mexico. Victor was eventually knocked off the Pier and was killed in the fall." |
