"Chris used to fly planes for the Navy, until an accident occurred, and she was asked to leave, with the promise that her commanding officer would be removed from command and never allowed to teach again. Later, it was brought to her attention that he was still teaching and she was enlisted to testify against him and remove him from his position permanently.
Before joining Pacific Blue, she worked in Public Relations as Officer Milk Carton, talking to children about the perils of talking to strangers. She was eventually recruited for Pacific Blue because of her skills in law enforcement. She became partners with Officer Victor Del Toro and the two of them became fast friends. She is best friends with Sgt. Cory McNamara.
Chris got the shock of her life when she finallly met her biological father. She'd always been raised with the notion that Joe Kelly was her father, in every way. She was hurt and angry to discover she'd been lied to. She pushed her biological father away, but eventually she relented and the two began to forge a bond.
She began dating TC Callaway and they eventually married. At first things went well, but the marriage was destroyed by her blind ambition for her career. She felt she had to make a choice between her marriage and her career. Her career won out and she left Santa Monica to attend the FBI Academy at Quantico, Virginia. She and TC are still married, though separated; and it is unclear whether they will be able to reconcile."
