Caledon is a world 65,000 lightyears from Earth, far away from the meddlings of humans. Actually the system is in a very remote, old part of the galaxy, isolating its people from beautiful and terrifying empires on the other side. Three of its worlds are populated; Caledon, the homeworld, Dorthonan, a world of huge caverns and white blizzard winters, and Everhine, a dry planet covered in savannahs, grasslands, and miles of open desert. The people here, Caledonians, are not two genders as our species has evolved with, but one. Not only are the people hermaphrodites but the animals, right down to the chickens and fish. This combination of the genders means no double stereotyping, sexual oppresion, or harrassment. This leads the people into fuller and healthier lives than humans, as society is more sexually open. |
