Calodin- A shorthand term for "Caledonian", used in a smiliar way to "person".
Everlasting Tree- The massive tree in the Palace Gardens that supposedly birthed the entire Caledon race. Thier tree-worship religion is based around this principle.
Seed Mother- The title for a paired mate that fertilizes the womb of an Earth Mother. Children call thier Seed Mothers "Mammy". This is also a highly regarded profession in the Pregantoriums.
Earth Mother_ The tittle for a paired mate who carries and brings a child to term in her womb. Children call thier Earth Mothers "Mommy".
Matron Mother- The High Priestess of the Caledon People. She is unique of her people in that she is virginal. However, all Matron Mothers regularly communed with the Everlasting Tree, who provides them with sexual sustenance in thier dreams.
The Red Line- The primary outer defenses of the Caledon solar system, which includes a screen of carrier groups, mecha dropships, minefields, and sensor probes. This was erected after the Bugger Invasion and is to prevent another.
High Queen- The ruler, sovereign, and literal axis mundi of which the Caledon people live around. Her styles, politics, fashion, and sexual preferences often shape Caledon culture.
The Noble Houses- The families which were founded by the children of the first High Queen. Although a few are rebels, most are very loyal to the Kingdom. Many house member can trace thier lineage to even the current Queen.
Anthronians- The natural race of planet Everhine. They are divided up into tribes of varying animal shapes including cat, dog, horse, iguana, etc. Though outwardly different it was recently disovered that all Anthronians have identical genetics with only a .2% variance.
Everhine- A planet of harsh deserts, grassy savannahs, and tropical jungles and oases. This is the first planet the Calodins colonized, only to discover it was already populated by tribal Anthronians.
Dorthonan- An icy world of glaciers and massive cave complexes. The caves are warmer and generally more habitable than topside.
