Being a race of hermaphrodites it is natural for thier physiology to function differently than humans. All specimens are gorgeous and naturally beautiful, with most reaching a height of 6 ft. They look very much like women except for the penis between thier legs. They have no scrotum, as evolution stated that it was in the way. So the testes are actually below the kidneys deep within the body, sitting adjacent to the ovaries, however about 1% of the population do have outer testicles in a smooth firm sac. Thier appearance varies, usually depending on what planet thier from. A unique trait about the people is that they can, at will, become fertile or barren. This natural talent has helped control population greatly. As a matter of fact, when a Caladonian is pregnant, gestation is only 2 months. The first week they balloon up and hold that size until the last week, where thier uterus holds the developing child and it grows twice that size. Birthing is almost painless, as the brain release huge amounts of endorphine and narcotin, which makes the mother almost euphoric as the child is expelled. Infants are born slightly more mature, by about 10 months, than thier Earth counterparts. The mothers body quickly shrinks back to its thinner form, except for the breast which almost immediatly demand milking. The child grows rapidly, reaching puberty in the fifth year of life. It is characterized by uncontrollable masturbation as the body is swarmed with hormones. Breasts grow slowly throughout life but stop near an average DD cup size. An average Caladonian lives to be 100 years old, and retain thier youthful looks until thier 90! |

Children and Birthing- When two Caladonians wish to propogate, they first must get a Birthing License from the state, provided they pay the fees and are old enough. After that the partners go make a baby, or more often two. The partners are divided as a Seed Mother and Earth Mother; the one who impregnates and the one who is impregnanted. Both partners can switch roles in one sex session. The papers cost 500 credits. The child grows rapidly, reaching puberty by the fifth year, in which both mothers teach her or send her to a children's creche before going to formal education at school. Education with the Mothers often involves sexual pleasing, speech and language, mannerisms, and some basic mathematics. The basic family unit is the couple with strong bonds between sisters. |
