OutCast is currently recruiting able workers who are willing to help out at this deliciously juicy new title! If you believe you are suitable to fill the positions of modeler, scripter, mapper or be part of the web team please get in contact with the project head. Spaces are available and it is quite important that they be filled!

People of all skills and experiences are welcome to embark on this project! All willing hands are able hands!

Here is an outline of some of the required abilities:

MODELING
We require some people to scratch build our 3d models, based upon drawing, description or otherwise.
We also require people to apply textures to finished models, if the author cannot.
Final tweaking guys would be nice, so that last important details can be applied easily.

SCRIPTING
A semi-large team with some previous Q3TA experience is a must for OutCast, people who have worked with Q3 engine games such as Wolfenstein, Quake 3, Elite Force or Half life are greatly appreciated for their talents and their ability to reduce my workload.

MAPPING
Mappers are welcome at any ability level, whether its just geometry or plotting ai scripts and logarithms. Teams of two or three mappers will be given the opportunity to build their own 5-15 mission campaigns with their individual flavor and styles.

TEXTURING
Mappers need resources, and to build up their 3D havens, texturer supporters are needed who can create that certain graphic (or locate and convert in some cases). Whether its stone walls or glowing lights there needs to be a fairly accomplished graphic artist that can do as the Mapping teams require.

SOUND IMPORTING
Another important job, sounds are critical in a modern game. Opening doors, talking and loosing off lead all require their appropriate effects in 22k Wav format. People who can find or create sounds are always welcome at OutCast, even if its only a short job. Sound Imports include SFX for buttons, creaks and voices.

MUSIC
The biggest problem for OutCast is that it must create its own dynamic music to really give the levels what they need. People who can create ambient music for backing or music to be played in necessary circumstances are just as appreciated as those who perform any other task. Perhaps more so.

PLAYSCRIPTERS
Last but not least, the story needs its plot as much as anything else. Playscripters are responsible for planning the movie sequences mostly, but also how the game develops.

WEBSITE
Not absolutely necessary but nice to have around, is a couple of able hands to keep this website fully functioning and updated when its needed. People with html knowledge and especially people with graphics abilities such as those who can create Flash effects are wanted to really jazz up this webpage.
