Mussels in Garlic Cream Sauce

What you need:

1/2 kg Mussels
30 gm Butter
1 tbsp garlic, pounded or crushed
2 tbsp cream
lemon juice
salt and pepper, to your taste

What to do:

*Boil mussels as per normal.  Drain and remove top half of shell. 
*Melt the butter in a pan, don't burn it.  Add garlic and saute over medium heat, don't let the garlic turn brown.
*Add cream and mix well until heated through.  If the cream seems a little thick, dilute it with a bit of milk or water.  Squeeze lemon into the pan.  Season with salt and freshly grated black pepper and voila! ~ the meal is served. 
*Accompaniment:  Hard crusted bread is ideal.

Serve 6.
Can be made a day ahead.
