While in Washington, he said, the new Afghan leader, Hamid Karzai, told him in a private meeting that Canada is the one country where the pluralism of society and the successful management of that pluralism is something he and others in Afghanistan want to look at.

In contrast, he fears that the Bush administration may be further dividing the world -- stripping it of any pluralistic hopes -- by declaring one side to be good and the other evil. The State of the Union address only added to his concern. "I have to tell you very frankly I will not stigmatize a whole population as being evil, whether they are Muslim, Christian, Jew, Hindu. I can't do that. If he [Bush] wants to say the people in government are responsible for things he doesn't like, that's his prerogative. I'm not sure the divide is quite that clear frankly," he said.

Since Sept. 11, the Aga Khan has assumed an even greater role as a voice of moderate and modern Islam -- a bridge between extreme elements in both the West and Muslim world.

"It's important to make the difference between the faith of Islam and the people of Islam. They are not the same thing. . . I think it's important for you to accept the premise that there is enormous plurality in the Muslim world. African Islam, Asian Islam, Central Asian Islam, Arab Islam. Even within the Arab world, there is enormous difference.

That the Aga Khan, who is steadfastly neutral in his politics, willingly wades into the controversy over motives involved in the terrorist attacks says something about the frustrations of many Muslims in the wake of the tragedy. While not defending the attacks, he believes that the United States has been too quick to dismiss the so-called context around them. He suggested that only more conflict can come as a result.

"I think what we are seeing from part of the Islamic world is a sense of profound injustice which has been part of our history for many, many decades." And he said part of the Islamic world is reacting to that. "Why are we being treated unjustly? And worse, why is this injustice specific to one part of the world? You look at other areas of the world [than the Middle East], the Western world has been generally equitable. Certainly the Palestinian situation is one that is perceived by the Arab world, and by many people in the Islamic world, as a profound injustice."

Aga Khan laments West's bias against Islam

ISLAMABAD - Prince Karim Aga Khan on Tuesday said the West needs to improve its understanding of Islam and also recognise the issues that are agitating the mind of the Muslim Ummah. Prince Karim Aga Khan, who is on a visit to Pakistan, said this while talking to a group of editors.

Aga Khan deliberated upon the various facets of US' understanding of Islam and lamented the bias against Islam in the West. Commenting on the post-Sept 11 developments, he emphasised the need for a better understanding of Islam and the issues perturbing the Muslim mind around the world by the West.

He said the West needs to realise that the majority of the Muslim Ummah was never in favour of the policies of the Taliban.

       Normally shy of political debate, he -- [Aga Khan ]  -- also had strong words for those in the West who see Muslim nations as an enemy and for the direction of U.S. President George W. Bush's foreign policy. "I find it very difficult to pass a moral judgment on all Iranians or all Iraqis. I will not do that," he said just a day after Bush's historic State of the Union address that targeted three alleged terrorist states -- North Korea, Iran and Iraq -- two of which are Muslim. "Can you imagine," the Aga Khan asked, "how sensitive that is for every Iranian living in the world to say, 'The President of the most powerful country in the world today stigmatized me as an evil person?' "

Cardinal Francis Arinze, President of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue, has addressed the Muslim community with the Catholic community's annual message for 'Eid-ul-Fitr', the Feast of the Breaking of the Fast at the end of the month of Ramadan. 

The letter speaks of what Christians and Muslims have in common, and points to prayer, fasting and almsgiving as signs of a shared search for God. This search for God is a sign of hope and hope creates a desire for good things to come as well as allowing us to see the good that exists already in our world.

in light of the above, one cannot doubt the pope's sincerity and affinity with islam, which he concurs, is also a part of the abrahamaic faith.

now, did mr. george bush jr., the usa president understand any of the above when he first declared the under mentioned epithets following the september 11 attack on the world trade centers? perhaps not.

having said that, what did the usa president actually mean when he angrily uttered those -- infused and historically highly charged and pregnant words -- phrases? 

the meaning of this utterance became very clear when the usa and the coalition forces bombed an islamic mosque on the first day of ramadhan in afghanistan. their bombardment continued throughout that holy month.

however, it was stopped on both christmas and new year's day, if my memory serves me right.

unfortunately, this was the one and only side of the story being told to the american public and the world at large by the 'state controlled' -- [in this case] -- western news media in a free and democratic country, regardless. 

although these so-called 'free media' continued to display the 'america at war' banner during the month of ramadhan, the same was dropped briefly during both christmas and new year's day.

what does this tell us, muslims -- who are trying to be very open and objective about this matter?

U.S. leaders should be especially leery of anything that hints at a holy war, many said, because it plays into the hands of Osama bin Laden, who has said he wants the world to plunge into a war, or jihad, between Islam and Christianity.

"It's what the terrorists use to recruit people -- saying that Christians are on a crusade against Islam," said Yvonne Haddad, a professor of the history of Islam at Georgetown University in Washington. "It's as bad to their ears as it is when we hear 'jihad.'"

The Crusades were a series of wars fought in the Middle Ages after Christian armies traveled to Palestine, or what is now Israel, to attack the Muslim armies that controlled Jerusalem.

           hence, in all fairness, how could the president of the usa accuse some foreign perpetrators only -- if and when the usa itself was the actual progenitor of that "evil force"? 

           and that being the case, when did its own creation namely, the said 'evil' become 'good' and vice versa in its own eyes and judgment? 

          according to a fairly recent cnn report -- BEFORE THE 911 EVENTS, the usa had imminent plans to attack al-qaeda in afghanistan. the war plans were already drawn awaiting the final presidential approval and green light to proceed. 

         however, osama bin laden was one up for sure. he foiled the american plan by striking first! 

      what the americans need to ask themselves is, did he or his network really act alone i.e., without any american conspiracy or assistance from within the usa per se? 

          this was too gigantic an operation with global impact for decades to come -- for an outsider to plan and execute it with such precision and that too, from within the usa.

        the main question is -- how did osama bin laden succeed to blind and evade the world's only super power in this manner for so long and then do what he did september 11? 

        and for all intents and purposes, that blindness and embarrassment continue in spite of all the intelligence and resources at its disposal:

          rest assured, there's more to this heartrending saga than meets the eye. 

yet, i am not here to defend the 911 heinous crimes against humanity. in this day and age, that kind of horror and disregard for human life cannot be justified under any circumstances, regardless.

rather, i am here to DEFEND ISLAM -- the religion and message of PEACE -- that had been deliberately and recklessly drawn into it by both the accused and the accuser.

BIAS AGAINST ISLAM

despite these facts and the commendable pilgrimage UNDERTAKEN those in the usa government, especially  President George W. Bush  & Vice President Richard Cheney  and others who have coined and misconstrued the said 'phrases'  -- in order to promote their BIAS AGAINST ISLAM as well, personal and political agenda -- like the misguided, osama bin laden and the taliban, etc., -- would be better advised to review:

i.      the christian history;
ii.     its undeniable crimes against humanity for centuries;
iii.    its politics and theology;

re: the same in order to understand their proper contexts and connotations. 

the aga khan explains it like so. believe me, he had been very generous in his thought and the interpretation of the same. 

whereas the 'christian actions' both according to the pope and history, speak of a different magnitude and reality altogether, as will be seen here below. 

         Aga Khan: Well I think the reflection in the media in the Western world of what is called ‘Islam' is perhaps a reflection of a misnomer. Because Islam is the name of a faith, it's not the name of a country or a geographic area or a number of countries, and therefore what goes under the word Islam really should be considered a faith. 

And one needs to separate I think the understanding of Muslim populations and their diversities from the notion of the faith, see what I mean? It's as if I said ‘what is Christianity doing with regard to Northern Ireland?' You would say to me ‘what's Christianity got to do with the Protestant/Catholic relations in Northern Ireland?' You see, that's not a reflection of Christianity. 

The Islamic world is very, very diversified. So I think the first point I would say is that it's important to make the difference between the faith of Islam and the peoples of Islam. They are not the same thing because the peoples of Islam practice different interpretations in different circumstances. And that diversity within what we call the ‘Umma' - that is the totality of the Muslim community if you want -- that diversity wasn't reflected on the 11th of September.

It took quite a long time for the media to enter into the issue to understand that what happened on the 11th of September was not an expression of the faith of Islam - it was an expression of a certain group who had certain interpretations of their own and which certainly were not validated by the totalities of the Muslim world.                now, was this a representation of christianity in its books? 

               according to reliable sources, about 20 years ago ariel sharon and the israelite regime perpetrated the massacres of the Sabirah and Shatilla camps in which 3000+ women and children were murdered in cold blood.

               why was/is the usa and its western allies -- silent about it? 

               by the way,  was it also a representation of judaism?  

               why is the usa still protecting the saudi royals when their human right violations are so high? 

               why has the usa disregarded the plight of millions in  saudi arabia, iraq and other mid-east countries -- in pursuit of its own fame, fortune, POWER, world dominance and its political and vital strategic interests in the middle east and elsewhere?

As he traces the footsteps of the Apostle Paul in Greece, Syria, and Malta this week, Pope John Paul II also appears to be on a larger journey of Roman Catholic contrition.

During his trip to Israel last year, the pontiff apologized for Christian persecution of Jews. On Sunday, he sat with Muslim religious leaders in a Syria, during the first visit by any pope to a mosque. "For all the times that Muslims and Christians have offended one another, we need to seek forgiveness," he said. In Greece Friday, he asked pardon for his church's sins of "actions and omissions" toward the Orthodox world, and in particular the Crusade that resulted in the sacking of Constantinople, the headquarters of the Orthodox Church.

there remains one other area of FRAUD to be explored. one of our rules in undertaking this inquiry into the SHROUD was not to rule out any miraculous or supernatural explanation for the cloth on a presumptive basis.

CHRISTIANS are more likely to accept the possibility that the SHROUD could have any kind of SPIRITUAL ORIGIN, and, if the origin is an EVIL ONE, IT IS THE CHRISTIAN CHURCH THAT IS THE TARGET OF IT. IS IT POSSIBLE THEN THAT THE SHROUD IS A _S_A_T_A_N_I_C_ PLOY. 

CHRISTIANS point to such effects of the shroud, and ask whether it can be the work of god or THE WORK OF SATAN.  
  
if the shroud is real, it can teach us much about jesus. we should first determine whether it is real. second, we should inquire into the spiritual origins of the shroud within the CONTEXT of a firm understanding of how to clearly discern the characteristics of the work of god AND THE WORK OF SATAN.
 
the SCRIPTURE teaches that SATAN is a spoiler who perverts and twists the truth ..... with that basis, we can perhaps settle whether SATAN IS BEHIND THE SHROUD or not. ['verdict on the shroud,' by kenneth e. stevenson and gary r. habermas, pp. 233-34].

this is a fairly strong statement. however, no one should overrule this possibility as well.  it must be noted that one of the authors was an engineer and the other a professor, both of whom had participated in 'the shroud of turin research project'  in 1978.
 
and although, these christian authors had undertaken this investigation with staunch faith, certain pre-conceived notions, fears and outright prejudices of their own, frankly, they LOST ALL OBJECTIVITY in the process of their inquiry and thus, the meaning and importance thereof.
 
on the other hand, despite the fact that the noble and admirable criterion selected by the authors themselves, one could LITERALLY SEE -- in their overall endeavor the HAND OF SATAN at work, 'who perverts and twists the truth,'   as claimed.
 
these awfully loyal, pious and frightful christian individuals -- tried their darn best to make *the glove fit* in order to show that the said shroud was potentially one of the GREATEST RELICS in the history of the church [pp. 234] -- and miracles of god, which pointed to the DIVINE ORIGIN and nature of christianity and the shroud per se.

but then you know what? unfortunately for them [kenneth e. stevenson and gary r. habermas], their stratagem was miscalculated and short-lived, as we will see herein. 

 

THE BIBLE -- they persecuted and KILLED

 

having said that, who killed or crucified jesus, the son of god and most of the israelite prophets before him? let the bible speak for itself.

and more importantly, did not god, the father also forsake jesus, his son when he needed him most? did not his handpicked apostles and followers betray and forsake him in the end? so what  'good' has either judaism or christianity got to offer to its faithful adherents, IF AND WHEN the bible clearly testifies against it?

            Was Jesus Peaceable And Compassionate?

The birth of Jesus was heralded with "Peace on Earth," yet Jesus said, "Think not that I am come to send peace: I came not to send peace but a sword." (Matthew 10:34) "He that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one." (Luke 22:36) "But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me." (Luke 19:27. In a parable, but spoken of favorably.)

The burning of unbelievers during the Inquisition was based on the words of Jesus: "If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned." (John 15:6)

Jesus looked at his critics "with anger" (Mark 3:5), and attacked merchants with a whip (John 2:15). He showed his respect for life by drowning innocent animals (Matthew 8:32). He refused to heal a sick child until he was pressured by the mother (Matthew 15:22-28).

frankly, the point i am trying to make is: 

i.     how a few radicals, politicians, rebellions and others -- whether jews, christians, hindus and/or muslims use or misuse their scriptures to promote their personal or political agendas -- 
ii.     is their problem.
iii.     it should not be a matter of reflection on the book and/or the faith which advocated 'religious war or fighting in defense of faith and/or self defense' to begin with;
iv.     because, times and needs have changed since its first revelation. 

moreover, things should not be taken out of the original context and connotation in order to present a certain biased viewpoint -- for material or political gain.

regardless, the purpose of this write-up is not to defend the latest crimes [september 11] against humanity. neither is it my intention to exonerate the usa, british, israelis, arabs, palestinians, pakistanis, indians and people of other nationals of their crimes against humanity either.

remember that ISLAM preaches no violence or whatever! 

rather, the bible is more radical and forceful in this respect, as just seen.

let's get down to the nitty-gritty.

it is very important also to point out and understand the following biblical warning because _a_l_l_ the contending pauline christians know is just a 'christianized rendition' of the 'name -- jesus christ(?) of their lord.' 

but is it his true and correct name? well, let the record speak for itself:

         Jesus, improperly substituted for Yahshua.  The Hebrew Alphabet has no letter J, nor did the English have this letter until the 16^th Century: proof that his name is not Jesus (see the 1611 KJV).

        Today many Christians and others assume that the Greek name Jesus was the original name of the Savior who was Hebrew.  If one does the research, one finds out that it is impossible for the Savior’s name to be Jesus.

 What is the intent of this article?

The intent of this article is to investigate the origin of the Greek name Jesus and its erroneous transliteration of the Hebrew name of our Savior Yahshua.  Our Saviour’s Name in Hebrew is    (read from right to left). The English name “Jesus,” which later employed the letter “J,” is a derivation from Greek “Iesous” and the Latin “Iesus” version.

This name “Jesus” commonly used in Christianity today did not exist and would not be spelled with the letter “J” until about 500 years ago. This article will also discuss the grammatical errors involved in the transliteration of Yahshua into Greek and Latin, which radically changed the form of Yahshua’s name.

regardless, everything else besides this 'christianized rendition', is based on their sheer faith, hypothesis and wild imagination of him and the holy ghost, the third of the inexplicable and non-biblical trinity.

and he that receiveth a righteous man
IN THE NAME of a righteous man 
shall receive a righteous man's reward.

this is very interesting indeed.  how will christians be rewarded if they were/are praying to a 'wrong name  vis-à-vis lord' -- to begin with?

             John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

in view of the above, were/are NOT  these christians condemned already because they do not know the correct name of their lord?

any wonder why then, they are still waiting for him BLINDLY? 'Ye shall not see me henceforth, T_I_L_L ye shall say.'

in other words, they will NOT be able to see or know him even if he was standing in their midst simply because, they do not know his name. 

on the other hand, what was the  name of the LORD  --  in whose name the christ jesus, son of mary [pbuth] will return?  and that is not all.

how will jesus react to their BLIND FAITH when it matters the most -- on that day?

       Matthew 7:21 Not every one who says to me [jesus], Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but he that does the will of my Father who is in the heavens. 

Matthew 7:22 Many shall say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied through *thy* name, and through *thy* name cast out demons, and through *thy* name done many works of power? Matthew 7:23 and then will I avow unto them, I never knew you. Depart from me, workers of lawlessness.

the will of my Father

by the way, a christian's salvation is conditional and not absolute, as we have been led to believe.  

please look at jesus' own condition for salvation and/or his intercession namely, 'Not every one who says to me [jesus], Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of the heavens but he that does the will of my Father'. 

now what was the 'will of the father'  --  its true meaning and application in the new testament and hence, christianity(?) of HIS DAY? what did Jesus believe and preach himself? 

well, said jesus:

           John:  004:022 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for
salvation is of the Jews.

HOW WILL YOU GET YOUR SALVATION?

God is a Spirit

in other words, jesus himself preached and practiced only ISLAM in its pristine purity.

so, if you love and believe in jesus christ -- follow his message. follow what he followed. he was known as 'the christ' because this was his message. 'I know that MESSIAS cometh, which is called CHRIST: when he is come, he will tell us all things.'

 

The Lord our God is one Lord

          Mark: 012:028 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?

012:029 And JESUS answered him,

The Lord our God is 
ONE LORD:

this is also the message of islam. please note that jesus followed this right path of islam i.e., he worshiped the one lord god alone! he worshipped HIM in spirit and IN TRUTH.

           the vatican, the roman catholics and a large number of the protestant christians worldwide believe that it was jesus' burial cloth. 
         this mysterious piece of cloth is said to be *HOLY and Sacred.* 
         it is venerated to the point of worship by the vatican.
         according to the present pope's recent address, this sacred icon also symbolizes what christianity as a whole stands for vis-à-vis the gospels and jesus, the word of god.

did not jesus says thus?:

jesus believed in one god who was GOOD! he did not believe in the 'trinity' of god, which for all practical purposes is absent from his teachings, as we have it in the 4 gospels only.

therefore, was he reaching out to the lord god of abraham and islam [section 1], simultaneously? remember, islam means peace and it WAS ONLY this god that abraham worshipped and prostrated to as did jesus and paul, respectively.

         on the other hand if my assertion is incorrect then was he just trying to accommodate and pacify both christians and muslims at the same time and place -- under the pretext of abrahamaic/islamic monotheism?

however, , 'MONOTHEISM' --  in its pristine purity is the basic PRINCIPLE and  message of islam vis-à-vis the faith of abraham [pbuh]  which, the pope professes to uphold. 

here's the proof:

        3: 2. Allah, (there is) no god but He, the Everliving, the Self-subsisting by Whom all things subsist.

what this means in a layman's language is that:

a.     the abrahamaic faiths of christianity and islam can and will come together;
b.     ONLY if the rest of the christians will make similar or same concessions as did the pope himself out of his own volition and commitment to the TRUTH & FAITH OF ISLAM. 
c.     after all, only islam in its various 'revealed forms' is the eternal religion of the past, present and future.

Was he Solomon, Jesus or Muhammad ?

Muhammad's name appeared in Haggai 2:7 under the hebrew word mahmad () which means praised one (Muhammad is Arabic for praised one). It almost undoubtedly is referring to the Arabic Prophet Muhammad.

First of all, the way this word is written is Hebrew is . That happens to be the EXACT same was Muhammad's name is written in Hebrew. Let's look at the spelling of this word...

It has four characters. Going from right to left they are...

According to Ben Yehuda's Hebrew-English Dictionary, is correctly pronounced "mahamad" (not mahmad) which is very close to Muhammad.

Ben Yehuda's Hebrew-English Dictionary defines "" as "lovely, coveted one, precious one, praised one". The correct way to say "praised one" in Arabic is Muhammad, so this is the same word!

As was stated before, the name Muhammad () and the word mahmad () are spelled exactly the same way in Hebrew, and both have the same meaning. The only reason they are pronounced different is because of vowels (dots and lines) introduced in the eigth century.

In conclusion, if Songs of Solomon chapter 5 is discussing a man to come after that time, it is without a doubt Muhammad, as it even mentions his name.

Vatican's New Catechism declares Muslims and Jews to be saved!

For both those of the Jewish and Muslim faiths, this element of faith in Jesus Christ as the raised Son of God is decidedly lacking. However, the Roman Catholic Church has taken it upon themselves to boldly proclaim that faith in Jesus Christ is not required, one only needs to believe in the creator and have Abraham's faith.

According to the opening letter of approval from the Pope, this new Catechism was six years in the making, and was drafted by a commission of 12 Cardinals and Bishops and reviewed by all the Bishops of the Catholic Church.

841    The Church's relationship with the Muslims. "The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the last day."[330]

This paragraph essentially proclaims that "the plan of salvation" includes all faiths that acknowledge the true creator. The reasoning given is that since the Muslims claim the faith of Abraham, and worship the one true God, they are not only among the saved, but are at the top of any such list.

Footnote 330 directs one to     Lumen Gentium, (DOGMATIC CONSTITUTION ON THE CHURCH), POPE PAUL VI, November 21, 1964, section 16:

first and foremost, it must be noted that jesus recommended fasting to his followers. he too, fasted for a number of days at a time. 

however, fasting is not so common among the present day christians. so, when such an order comes from the pope himself, it is certainly important as far as christianity is concerned.

and as such, the intelligent christians must think seriously about what the POPE said and commanded his followers to do -- during the muslim holy month of ramadhan ITSELF --  whether there's a war or no war.

says the pope: "A day of fasting in the name of peace."  

now, did he mean to say, 'fasting in the name of peace,' that is and/or as in, -- 'ISLAM -- ALLAH -- SALAAM--PEACE'? -- because he adds, 'It is also the last day of fasting for Muslims during the Ramadan festivities.'?  

in other words, this is 'PEACE' between god and man -- and between man and man himself!

the former transcends the material and spiritual realms whereas, the absence of the other can only result in chaos and loss of human lives -- as had been the case since september 11.

in other words,  this is the only ISLAMIC connotation that he had in mind when he talked to a muslim and/or about 'THE ONE INDIVISIBLE GOD OF PEACE and the muslim holy month of RAMADHAN. and as such, in a muslim's mind there can not be any room for error, fallacy or ambiguity re: the aforesaid. 

this pope is said to be infallible and so must be his word before the god of abraham, jesus and muhammad and their followers. there can not be two ways about his assertion or faith.

here's what i mean:

It is also the last day of fasting for Muslims during the Ramadan festivities.

this is very admirable indeed! 

however, fasting is common to all denominations of the abrahamaic faith. in other words, we are all -- that is jews, christians and muslims -- suppose to fast anyways.

           Psalms 35:13 I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into mine own bosom.       luke 2:37      And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day.
