Transmission:

The original R380 fitted to the Defender failed after about 75,000 miles and I chose to replace the manual transmission with the Land Rover fitted ZF Automatic transmission. It was fitted using all the factory Land Rover components except for the transmission fluid cooler where I opted for a larger capacity and better cooling cooler. There are under 10,000 miles on the transmission and it runs perfectly.

Coupled to the transmission is a new LT232Q transfer case and shares the same low miles as the transmission. I have the old transfer case if desired.

Modifications:

Automatic transmission
Factory installation except cooler
Higher capacity oil cooler
Brand new shifter

Automatic transmission with factory components. Old picture before shifter was replaced.
