Winter is here! We've had our first freeze.
Freezing rain and sleet, yuk! What was I thinking when I moved here, LOL. I bought a real wintet coat, leather gloves, scarf and hat. Boots are next.

I'm now down to between 125-130 pounds and looking into reconstructive surgery. I went to see Dr. Wilfrido C. Feliciano at Plastic Surgery Consultants. I really like him. The extended abdominoplasty will be first, then the arms and breast (lift and implants) and then the thighs and butt. He doesn't think my insurance will cover my eyes, but he'll put that in the report and we'll see. I went to the dentist and am getting my teeth fixed. I want straight white teeth like my brother and sister. It'll take some time, but now I'm going to get them!
I have my contacts and love them, it's funny because I still try to adjust my glasses even though I don't have them on. New clothes are a real challenge. I don't know what style I like. I tend to pick things that look like the old me, you know big and baggie. I can wear a 4/6 in some pants in others I need an 8. I really like the taylored look that shows off my waist now that I have one. I also like the look of calf lenght form-fitting dresses with boots. I ordered some from Chadwicks of Boston and Coldwater Creek. There are so many choices out there that I go crazy. I love it!!!!

Sad news! My friend Denise that was here has now moved back to Arizona. The online support group that I started here is growing, we now have 16 members. Check it out....

Jennifer and I met with Dr. Fabito and some of his patients on Nov. 26th. and now we are waiting for insurance approval. Dr. Fabito is great, he's very warm and caring. He also has a great sense of humor. I met a lady at the surgeons that is having her surgery tomorrow (Dec 5th) I plan to go see her on Thursday. This will be a good oppertunity for Jennifer to see how things are done here. Jennifer is very busy she started her new job, she excited about making her own money. She is also doing her school work and is now back in Girl Scouts, she's working with a troop of brownies (2nd grade) and having a great time.

I've been feeling a little weak lately and having more pain then usual. I'm down to a low of 125 and a high of 130, depends on when and what I ate, but I'm not trying to lose any more. I've doubled up on my vitamins, including my potassium and calcium. My appetite is OK, I'm eating mainly protein and am doing good with my water. I have been having more pain in my legs and arm lately so I'm having another MRI done on the 6th and will see the Neurologist on the 11th. We'll see what happens then. I hope it's just the cold weather and the fact that all I want to do is curl up with a good book in front of the fireplace. That sounds so nice.
