Well here we are almost one year out!
I feel GREAT! I now weigh 147 pounds, that makes a tolal of 184 pounds that I have lost. It's amazing what a difference a year can make. Jennifer and I are adjusting to life in MO. We've been very lucky, the awful heat and humidity that everyone warned me about hasn't happened yet. Or, could it be that I've lost 184 pounds of insulation and don't notice it as much. I don't mind being outside at all, in fact I enjoy it. I bought 2 adirondack chairs for the patio, with an icy lemonade, it's like heaven.
Jennifer and I go to the pool 2-3 times a week, I'm trying to get a little sun on this very pale bod of mine. Of course I am using a high SPF since it's been a while since I've had a tan. I have a great raft that I use to float around on. It is so relaxing. When we move back to SA I will be looking for a house with a pool.
I'm done with all the everyday testing that I was having to do. No more daily needles! I go back for my next MRI in 3 months. We'll see how it goes. Next is contacts, Jen and I are both going to get them. Jen will get hers on the 19th and I'll get mine on the 23rd.
