Born in 2983 Faramir was the youngest son of Denethor II and Findulias. Denethor always liked Boromir more than him as Faramir's great respect for Gandalf and his hate of battle annoyed him. Even though he hated battle Faramir was a brave soldier who was loved and respected by his soldiers. During the retreat from Osgiliath to Minis Tirith Faramir was fatally wounded by a Nazgul and just barely saved from certain death by Aragorn. During his stay in the House of Healing he met Eowyn and fell in love with her. After the War of the Ring they were married and had a child Elboron.
