Born in 2931, Aragorn was a descendant of Isildur, and heir to the throne of Gondor. He was actually part elf, as his father was descended from Elrond's brother, Elros who was an elf but chose to become mortal. When he was 20 he met Arwen and fell in love with her. He became a ranger instead of reclaiming his throne and met Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin in Bree, leading them safey to Rivendell and then joining the Fellowship of the Ring. After the Fellowship split up he, Legolas and Gimli followed the Orcs to try and save Merry and Pippin. After meeting up with Gandalf and finding Merry and Pippin safe, he helped lead the defense of Helm's Deep and witnessed the destruction of Isengard. Afterwards he travelled to the Paths of the Dead because of his vision in the Palantir. He arrived with more men at the battle of the Pellannor Fields and turned the tide. He led the Army of the West against Sauron, and after the War of the Ring he was crowned king of the reunited kingdom and married Arwen, having several daughters and a boy Eldarion.
