I believe that this child either at birth, or shortly after. Probably the mother died at about the same time. Neither show up on the 1830 census with the family. : In the 1830 Census of Hall County Georgia, there is not a female in the household who's age would match Sarah's or a child matching Elkanah, the youngest, the probality is high that both mother and child died sometime the birth and the day the census was taken.

James M. Dunahoo 1 married 2, 3 Mary A. Munday on 5 Jan 1837 in Forsyth Co., Ga. The marriage ended in divorce.

In 1850 census Forsyth County, GA there is a June Monday F age 30 born in Virginia living with Susan and Young Light. Who is she? She is not listed in the will of John Munday so is most likely not a sister of Susan's.Possibly a cousin?

Another researcher (a gg-granddaughter of Louvenia Ann Mundy) lists Susan's name as Susan Lusia Munday. I don't know where she gets the middle name. So far none of Susan's descendants who have contacted me have given a middle name for her. 01/25/02

From the History of Hancock County:

"E. R. Clemens was born April 23, 1818, in Kentucky. He is a son of David Clemens, who was a native of Virginia, and is of Scotch ancestry. Our subject came to this county in 1843, where he has since made his homw; engaged as an engineer on a boat plying the Mississippi. During the last war he was engineer on the gun-boat "Mound City," of a Mississippi squadron of the United States navy. This boat, with the full fleet, participated in the battle of Vicksburg, which lasted for the space of five hours. The fleet also fought at Greenville, the mouth of the Yazoo River, and Red river. At the last named place Mr. Clemens was discharged on account of his inability to perform his duty; and when on his way home, he happened at Ft. Pillow when Beneral Forest made a riad on the soldiers and inhabitants there, and massacred them. Mr. Clemens was married June 5, 1843, to Mary J. Monday, by whom he has had 4 children. Of these only one is living, Eudora."
