William S. Shadburne married Sara Barker Dec. 14, 1803 in Brunswick Co. Va. Their first child was Joseph Shadburn he Married Eliza Hamby ( Joseph's brother was my gg-grandfather ) Joseph & Elizas third child was Elizabeth ( Betsy ) Shadburn b-7, Nov. 1836 Forsyth Co. Ga. (she was the first Shadburn child born in Forsyth Co.) She Married John Burruss Mundy 25, Nov. 1860. She died Jan. 1919.

Elizabeth was listed in the 1870 census as Eveline age 35. This is may be an error on the enumerator's part, however it is interesting to note that Zack's second daughter is named Evelyn which may have been after his step mother.

Will dated 28 May 1849, witnessed signing the will were, George Kellog,  Nimrod Cross, John Burruss, and Patrick Bailey. His annexed will named Mary A. Dunahoo, Louvinia A., wife of Josiah Thornton, James E., John B., Samuel D., and the wife of Young K. Light . John B. Monday (Munday) and Young K. Light were designated as executors. In Feb. 1851 Mary A. Dunahoo by her attorney, William A. Lewis, applied in court as a daughter and legatee of John Monday, claiming a share of her father's estate for herself and her two minor children, Marinda Elizabeth and James Overton Dunahoo. Her petition avowed that her hussband, "James M. Dunahoo had long since abandoned your Oratrix and recommended Alexander Nuckolls be appointed Trustee of their one-sixth part of John Munday's estate both real and personal." Nuckolls was appointed as requested on Feb. 28, 1851.
It should be noted that John Burrus who witnessed the will is the brother of John Munday's wife Elizabeth Burruss Munday. Alexander Nuckolls who is appointed Trustee of Mary Munday Dunahoo's portion of the estate is the husband of Elizabeth's sister Anne Burrus Nuckolls. All three families move together to Forsyth County, Georgia from Louisa County, Virginia in the 1830's.

Don Shadburn lists the children of John and Elizabeth Munday as having a James E. Munday and not a Jane E. Munday, however I have not found any other records of a James and do see that in 1850 Jane was living with her sister, Susan in the Young Light household. It may be that Don misread the court record and read Jane as James. It also seems that there is another female unaccounted for in the 1840 census in the family constellation as we have it. In 1840 the census records for John's family read:

We know that Louvinia was married in 1838 and was enumerated with her husband in 1840 and that Mary was married in 1837 and was also enumerated with her husband. So the question is who is the unaccounted for female in the household? And if another child why is she not listed in her father's annexed will? Was there a daughter that pre-deceased her father? Or is this a visiting relative?

age in 1850 census enumerated 9 Oct 1850 was 1/12 or one month which would mean that she would have to have been born no earlier than August and was most likely born in September not July as stated in the 1900 census:.age given as 21 in 1870 census and occupation as carding and spinning.

1910 Census indicates that Georgia Ann was the mother of 3 children 2 living.

Wiley White married ¹ Nebraska C. (or K.) Mundy on 1 Oct 1896 in Hall County, Ga.

Note that in 1870 Elizabeth and Amanda Compton are living with Butler and Nancy White. Previously in the 1860 census they were living next door listed as E. and H.A Compton and E was listed as insane. In the 1850 census next door to them was Sarah East widow and Elizabeth Compton and Hannah Compton. Clearly Hannah is also H A and Amanda. It is most likely that Sarah, Elizabeth and Hannah Amanda are sisters and also that Nancy is also their sister. From the Hall County website early marriages listing I find the following entry:
         Compton      Sally            married    East         Isaac            on   07-Sep-1843
So we know that Sarah also known as Sally was certainly a Compton.
