| Snack and Show-n-tell: I will send home a monthly calendar in your child's MOOSE book. Please send in a quick healthy snack (raisins, pretzels, etc...) and something for show-n-tell on their snack day. (Please save the cupcakes & sweets for special occasions.) |
| Toys: Bringing toys to school is discouraged for a number of reasons. If a toy is accidentally lost or broken, feelings will be hurt. Please only bring a toy from home on your snack/show-n-tell day. |
| Unique: Every student is unique and special. |
| Visitors: All visitors must first check in at the office before coming to the classroom. While this may be inconvienent for frequent visitors, it is necessary to provide a safe learning environment for all children. |

| Writing: We will be practicing our writing skills everyday. One way to help at home is to have your child help write out the grocery list and then take him/her to the store and check off the items as you find them. Making writing meaningful is a big part of writing in our class. |
