| Parent Involvement: Your support of school activities makes your child feel important and sends the message that school is important to you! We are always happy to have parents help out in the classroom. Please see our volunteer sheet and sign up when you are available. For special activities, I will send home a note in the newsletter requesting volunteers. |
| Parties: There are four main parties that we do each year. Those are Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day, and End-of-the-Year (Kindergarten Graduation) Room parents usually organize these events and coordinate the volunteers and donations. |

| Recess: We will go outside for 15 minutes twice a day unless it is raining or too cold. Please be sure to dress appropriately for the weather and make sure that your child's name is written on all outdoor clothing (coats, snowpants, hats, etc...) |
| Room Parents: A room parent's job is to organize a number of things: parties, seek volunteers to help with special projects, and to organize the call tree for snow days. You may sign up to be a room parent at our open house. |
