My Job!

Just after my graduation, I started going out in the streets, to look for companies. Check out the latest vacancies and go to the respective company, or fill the scooter's petrol tank to the brim and roam all over Bangalore for Jobs. I spent about 2 months doing this and finaly I got an opening in a small training institute called 'Visual Reality Technology Center' about 3 Kms from home. I joined there as a programmer cum part-time faculty for HTML. Actually I joined there as a programmer in HTML and had to teach the same to my collegues. Over a period of 3 months, things got monotonous as there was no change in work procedures, My first thoughts to change my job was next on the agenda. The next day, my chief called me and said that they were expecting a vacancy in one of the companies called "Visual Interactive Pvt. Ltd. who wanted HTML programmers and he knew that because the MD of that company was a close friend of his and asked me to attend the interview. This was like 'Think of the devil' proverb. The next day I went to the interview and got selected. The company looked well furnished and had good interiors and some good comps!.

So, on July the 14^th 1999, I joined the new company "Visual Interactive Pvt. Ltd, which later became Indiainfo.com Pvt. Ltd.

From then on, I was working as a HTML programmer out here in Indiainfo.com. I joined as the 16 member of the company and now the strength of the company has risen to 381!.

Mr. B. G. Mahesh is the Chief Technological Officer, the same person who interviewed me and made me a man out of nothing. Very systematic in approach and when it comes to Business, He means Business and when it comes to being personal, you will never find a person like him to share all your feelings with him. Nothing Official About It!!!. Gem of a person, and a thorough Gentleman. Great manager.

Mr.Madhu Kodali is the Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Very soft spoken but a man with Vision to achieve, always focussed towards the goals.

My responsibilities was to create HTML pages and content for any new sites as well as maintain horizontal and vertical channels for our Website http://www.indiainfo.com. For the websites that I have designed visit my Resume section.

Came Janury 1st, 2001, I joined another brand new company. The offer was good and the responsibilities was worth taking the charge. I joined Ms. Impelsys India Pvt. Ltd. as a Software Engineer. The first technical interview was taken by Mr. Goverdhan, CEO of Yashaa Infotech, at Indiranagar. The HR and 2nd round of Interview was handled by the CEO of Impelsys, Mr. Sameer Shariff.

Our company is situated in one of the most beautifull buildings in Bangalore, The International Technology Parks. Situated in a serene complex of 4 high rise buildings, built to international standards, these buildings host 120 companies and has a IT Manpower of 9000 and odd currently.

The ambience provided by this setup is second to none in the world. IT majors from all over the world want a piece of thier company in this park.

Like other companies, Impelsys is located in the 8th Floor, of Innovator building. Headquartered in New York, USA, our company provides bleeding egde IT solutions on multiple platforms and architecture. Our major clients are from the healthcare stream. Pharmacia, AstraZeneca, Baylor Health Care, Reed, Thomson Health care and more. Our company is VC funded by Chase and Morgan Stanley from Manhattan, Big Apple.

I joined Impelsys as the first Software Engineer. Since then the company has grown to 50 (current strength). It has been a very good learning curve for me in terms of technologies that I am being exposed to. I major in Microsoft Technologies which includes ASP, VB, SQL Server and COM. I have already put up 2.5 years in this company. I lead two projects and a member of 4 more. I have completed about 6 Projects in all uptill now for many Multinational Clients like Medsite, Thomson Healthcare, Pharmacia and AstraZeneca. For a more detailed report, do check out my resume.
