The Waterfall's Acceptance
The waterfall flows endlessly
streaming
cascading
perpetually pounding the rivers rock
like lost lovers seeking meaning and purpose
it descries truth
by having no place to proceed.
The waterfall lands on anything in its path
has touched metal and wood
fish and fowl
flower and alga
human flesh.
The elegance of its existence
is greatest when shared
by the reciprocity of earthly pleasures.
The waterfall is like an enigma
best understood by those
who understand one another
forever joined at the waist
centered
and focused
forever committed to accept its time and place
under the sun.
