Interesting tidbit: who knew it would be so hard to find a dang mailbox?!? Anyhow, I'm convinced that people in Barcelona only pretend to go to work in their fashionable suits. in the morning the cafes are PACKED with well dressed locals having coffee or reading the paper. then around 11:30 or so, businessmen come in for a beer and sandwich. then of course the restaurants are JAMMED at around 1:30 with everyone having a two hour lunch. i guess they go back to the office around 3 or so but then around 6 or 7 all the tapas bars are crowded with people having beer and tapas before they head home. the streets filled with rush hour traffic. around 9:30 or 10 the restaurants fill up with the dinner crowd. Later, the cava bars get crowded around 11:30 or midnight. And finally, around 1:30 or 2, the dance clubs fill up with the beautiful people. When do they sleep and what do they do for a living? i�ve no idea but whatever it is, i want in!! |
