Card Making

Materials Required:

o               Kaiser Card & Envelope

o               A5 sheet parchment paper

o               white foam Weather Strip (approx 15cm)

o               corrugated card

o               decoupage paper

o               other embellishments (optional)

o               PVA glue

Instructions:

  1. Trim parchment paper so that it is just smaller than the Kaiser Card.  Fold in half and paste inside card.  Use a small bead of PVA down the right of the fold in the centre of the card
  2. Select corrugated card and cut out pictures from decoupage paper, layout on card and trim to suit
  3. Paste corrugated card on front of Kaiser Card
  4. Wipe excess PVA from card with a paper towel
  5. Stick foam on to under side of decoupage paper cut outs and paste with PVA to front of Kaiser Card

Other:

Weather strip used instead of double sided flat tape as this is a cheaper alternative.

The corrugated card, decoupage paper and other embellishments were left over items from earlier crafts.

Spare card packs could be sold to mums at end of the session or made up to give guest speakers
