I started working at Elgin Community College's Visual and Performing Arts Center at it's grand opening as a stage hand. 

I worked as a stage hand throughout my time at E.C.C., helping the technical director by filling in when she needed time off. 

I also served as a house manager for the V.P.A.C. at both of it's theatres.  E.C.C.'s V.P.A.C. had a proscenium stage with around 600 seats and a 150 seat black box theatre. 

still keep in touch with the staff at Elgin and enjoyed the time I spent there.
