The Sycamore Theatre was my introduction into the commercial movie business. A 3 screen movie theatre, the Sycamore theatre is located in downtown Sycamore, IL.
The theatre had a very loyal customer base and did very good business even when faced with a new ten screen theatre within 5 miles.
The Sycamore Theatre was owned by Mainstreet theatres inc., a company that owned 3 different theatres in Northern Illinois.
The Sycamore Theatre remains privately owned and still caters to the needs of the Sycamore community.
