AGAIN
My feelings race.
My heart pounds!
The blood rushes to my face.
I can't believe what I'm hearing.
After years of forgiving him for years of belittling us,
He repays in lashing out and refusing to see what's real.
His son cries out for approval and love.
Another son tries to make him see that he's not like his father, he's different.
He doesn't hold angst, dark secrets and anger deep within, he is clean inside.
To no avail.
He continues his tirades, one after another.
"Don't you dare fail, and if you do, it's unacceptable."
"Don't you cry, and if you do, it's unacceptable."
"Don't express your 'sarcasm' (opinion). It's unacceptable."
"Don't look at me that way, walk that way, talk that way, breathe that way, cry that way."
"You're unacceptable"
First he used me, changed me, betrayed me, destroyed me,
Now he goes after them.
If not them, then some other someone will become his target.
but for now... we are his focus...
Again.
