Lawyers have taught us that contracts don't mean anything and justice
is irrelevant.

Things may very well have been better in the old days, but back then it sure didn't seem like it.

Being ignored is far worse than being rejected.

The media has become society's new religion, with celebrities our deities and law-givers.

If you choose to live your life in the public eye, you're pretty much asking for it.

Nothing stings like the truth.

Character can be measured by the quality of the things that make us happy.

Copernicus Syndrome: The tendency of brilliant people to be socially awkward and misunderstood.

It is perceived that today's younger generation is spoiled because they don't want to start at the bottom. In reality, today the bottom is hazardous to your well-being.

Being wanted is false power. True power is being needed.

Nothing lives up to the advertising.

America's two main problems are drugs and guns, both of which make it far too easy to turn to crime.

Deep within the individual, beyond the conscious mind, there is something innate that determines where we belong and with whom we should be.

Our personalities are largely founded on a "tribal competition" factor, inwhich individuals base their self-image on perceived competition within their own tribe. Example: A beautiful woman will perceive herself to be unattractive because there is much competition among women to be beautiful, whereas an average looking man will perceive himself to be good looking because there is little competition among men to be good looking.

When women starve themselves to death through anorexia and bulimia, everyone blames society for putting too much pressure on women to be beautiful, even though morbidly underweight women look hideous. However, when men commit crime, nobody blames society for putting too much pressure on men to have money, even though men without money are shunned by society.

It's been said that society has lost the contributions of 50% of its people because of the historical oppression of women. However, a more accurate figure would be 99.9%, as very few men have managed to realize their dreams. If anything, it is women who have contributed the most to society, as they gave birth to and raised us all.
