Patience and compassion are the cornerstones of a civilized society.

Sometimes experience and practice can be detrimental to performance.

Nothing is foolish if it makes you happy and isn't detrimental to anyone or anything.

Everything is okay as long as no harm is being done.

The more you want, the more you will have to sacrifice.

Just because you don't talk about it doesn't mean it will turn out okay.

Just because we don't discuss something doesn't mean it will go away.

There are some things that can't be beaten, but only held off.

Somehow, some way, we're all taking advantage of someone.

Sometimes we are forced to choose between the frying pan and the fire.

We knock down those who we first place on a pedestal.

Getting your foot in the door is about 90% of the battle.

Everybody is judged by the way they look. Everybody.

What would the world be like today if slavery had never existed in America?

It is better to have succeeded and failed than never to have succeeded at all.

It is the saddest of all facts that there is no money in compassion.

If only we felt about one another the way we feel about money.

Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy a lot of the things that make us happy.

The foundation of all business is to take more money from people than they give to other people.

It's true that everyone has a price, but it's not necessarily a monetary one.

How tragic that money has become the elixir of life.

Those of us without money are not allowed to laugh or have friends of make love or be healthy or eat properly or live comfortably or feel secure or move ahead or contribute or hope.
