We all have our prejudices.
At some time or another we are all victims of discrimination and prejudice, regardless of who and what we are.
Very often in today's society racism and sexism are confused with prejudice against young people.
Perhaps the most significant problem society faces today is "social propaganda," inwhich a group that perceives itself to be the victim of social prejudice perpetuates myths of social prejudice, usually in the form of stereotypes. This propaganda programs its members to think in such a way as to perceive every trivial setback as evidence of these myths. Once a myth has been confirmed in the mind of an individual, their spirit is forever broken and they are then compelled to perpetuate the myth to the next generation.
A lot of people in a new situation think they are being discriminated against because of their race or sex, when in reality they are being discriminated against simply because they are the new person. However, when the discrimination continues it's because the other people don't respect your reaction to it.
