PIVOTAL CHARACTERS
Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ben)
Obi-Wan was taught by Master Yoda when he was a youngling, then he was taken as an apprentice by Qui-Gon Jinn. After Qui-Gon's death he became a knight, and then he took Anakin Skywalker as a Padawan (apprentice). Obi-Wan eventually became a General in the Clone Wars, and also a Master on the Jedi Council. At the end of the Clone Wars Anakin turned to the Dark Side and became Darth Vader. To protect Anakin's new born Son, Luke, he took Luke to Tatooine. At that time the Empire was too dangerous, so Obi-Wan lived as a hermit on Tatooine as well and went by the name Ben. Eventually he bumped into Luke and R2D2 when they had gotten older. They were heading to Alderaan together but found the Death Star had destroyed the Planet. Ben eventually died on the Death Star at the hands of his old apprentice Darth Vader. Later on as a spirit in the Force he would guide Luke on his journey to becoming a Jedi.
Qui-Gon Jinn
Master Qui-Gon was the Master of Obi-Wan, and they became good friends. He found Anakin Skywalker on the planet Tatooine and was able to free him. He eventually died at the hands of Darth Maul. According to Yoda he was the one who discovered how to become a spirit in the Force.
R2-D2
R2 has a very long history. He was a repair droid on Queen Amidala's Starship. He met C3PO on Tatoonie. Then he helped the Queen gain back control of her Planet Naboo. Later when the queen became a senator, he guarded her in her room. He also saved her from molten metal on the planet Geonosis. He was the helper droid on Anakin's Starship during the Clone Wars, and helped both Obi-Wan and Anakin on missions. Later on he and C3PO were owned by Captain Antilles of Alderaan. They served aboard the Tantive IV (blockade runner). After being sent down to the Planet Tatooine with C3PO, he got into the ownership of Luke Skywalker, and eventually met up with Obi-Wan again (it had been so long even obi-wan did not recognize R2). They all went onto the Millennium Falcon together with Han Solo. R2 eventually helped Luke destroy the death star by fixing his ship during battle. R2 was in many adventures after that, including meeting Master Yoda on Degaba and fixing the millennium falcon's hyperdrive while escaping from Bespin's Cloud City.
C-3PO
Yoda
For 800 years Yoda trained Jedi in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. During the later time he spent in the temple he was on the Jedi Council and was the head master for the Jedi Order. He fought Count Dooku on Geonosis. After the loss of the Jedi at the temple he went to face Emperor Palpatine. After loosing to Palpatine in a duel, he left and met up with Obi-Wan. He eventually ended up hiding on Dagobah to await another chance to defeat the evil emperor. He found that chance when Luke Skywalker arrived. He trained Luke in the Force and then became a spirit in the Force when he died.
Mace Windu
He was a Jedi Master on the Council. He killed Jango Fett on the Planet Geonosis. He was eventually killed by Emperor Palpatine and Anakin.
Jango Fett
He was a bounty hunter hired by Tyranus to be the genes for the Clone Army. He had a clone son named Boba Fett, and was captain of the starship Slave I. He was eventually killed by Mace Windu.
Count Dooku
Count Dooku was once a great Jedi who trained Qui-Gon Jinn. He later became a Sith named Darth Tyranus. His master as a Sith was Darth Sidious. He helped Create the Clone army by hiring Jango Fett, but he also created the Separate Army. He sliced off Anakin's arm, and fought Yoda on the planet Geonosis. At the end of the Clone Wars he fought Obi-Wan and Anakin. Anakin eventually killed him while he was on his knees.
