This constitution was used between August 30, 2006 and July 20, 2007. This one had the positions of Forum Librarian, Jedi Archivist, and Student Trials Corrector on it. It was before Head Administrator, Graphics Designer, Head of Security, and Meeting Advisor were added.

    Jedi Constitution

    The Jedi Council:
The size of the Jedi Council is in direct proportion with the size of the order. For every five Jedi, there should be one council seat; until the council reaches twelve, which is the maximum seats. At the moment any rank may become a member of the Jedi Council. Members of the Jedi Council are all given higher authority then if they were not on the Council. Masters on the Council are allowed to send lower ranks on tasks and missions, as long as it is reasonable. The Council is allowed to make decisions concerning the entire order, so long as it is agreed upon. The Council is also allowed to amend the constitution with a vote in which the Head Master must be in agreement.

    Head Master:
The Head Master is the site author and editor. The Head Master must be of Master rank in the Order and also on the Council. It is the task of the Head Master to steer the website in the correct direction. The correct direction is one that follows the Jedi Code and aims towards creating world peace. The Head Master also oversees all of the positions listed in the Jedi constitution as well as the Council. He or she also appoints the members of the Council. The Head Master may also appoint anyone to any of these positions as he deems necessary as well as perform the job him/herself:

    Force Advisor:
This position is responsible for overseeing all of the students without Masters as well as advising anyone with questions about the Force.

    Forum Librarian:
This Knight or Master is in charge of cleaning up the Forum. This means moving posts into the Forum Archives that are old, not pinned, and useful. If the Librarian sees many topics that need deleting then a list of them should be sent to the Council Masters for review.

    Forum Maintenance:
This position is responsible for the upkeep and regulation of the forums. This means that he or she will be responsible for keeping track of the forum as well as making sure it is running smoothly.

    Jedi Archivist:
This position is responsible for regulating and overseeing the Jedi Archives. For an editable Archives this includes adding trustworthy members and making sure the information that is added is truthful.

    Jedi News Scribe:
The News Scribe is responsible for a weekly to monthly news-report on the happenings in the world and the Jedi Order. The Scribe should be informed of the content of Council meetings even if he or she is not on the Council. The Scribe must honor the authority of the Council.

    Jedi Recruiter:
The Jedi Recruiter is responsible for advertising the site as well as finding anyone who would be interested in joining the Order.

    Student Trials Corrector:
This is the Master or Knight that overlooks the Student Trials and corrects them. This is the person to go to for questions about readiness to take the Student Trials as well.

    Knight Trials Corrector:
This is the Master that overlooks the Knight Trials and corrects them. This Master also makes sure that all Trials are running smoothly.

    Website Reviewer:
The Website Reviewer is responsible for reviewing websites containing Jedi teachings. Specifically, websites that are suggested by members of the Order that are not listed on the main website's links page.

Jedi Ranks (from highest to lowest):
    Council Member
    Jedi Master

    Definition of Rank:

Council Member: See "The Jedi Council"

    Jedi Master:
Jedi Masters are allowed to teach Jedi Students, Padawans, and Knights. They are to be shown respect by all Students, Padawans and Knights. Respect is usually shown by bowing when approaching or leaving a Master and always addressing a Master with the title of "Master". This means answering a question asked by a Master with "Yes Master" and so on. Masters are free to ask questions to all Knights and Masters. They are allowed to take on more then one Padawan at a time to train, as long as they inform the Council. They are allowed to give information & advice to anyone. They are allowed to view the Advanced Section of the Jedi Forum, if they ask. It is to be understood that even though Master is the highest Jedi rank, they are still to learn and grow from others.

    Jedi Knight (High Knight):
This means if you do the Knight mission questions and they are good enough you can become a Jedi Master. High Knights are still Jedi Knights, but they are the ones who got over a 90% on the Knight Trials.

    Jedi Knight:
Jedi Knights are allowed to teach Jedi Students and Padawans. They are to be shown respect by all Students, Padawans and Masters. They are free to ask questions to all Knights and Masters. They are also allowed to take on a Padawan to train one-on-one, as long as they inform the council. They are allowed to inform information & advice to anyone.

    Jedi Padawan:
Jedi Padawans are free to ask questions to all Knights and Masters. They are to be shown respect by all Students, Knights and Masters. They are not allowed to teach to other students, because they are not ready. They are allowed to inform higher ranks of information & advice if they have any. They are under the direct instruction of a Knight or Master and are allowed to take the Knight Trials with their Knight or Master instructor's recommendation.

    Jedi Student:
Jedi Students are free to ask questions to all Knights and Masters. They are to be shown respect by all Padawans, Knights and Masters. They are not allowed to teach to other students, because they are not ready. They are allowed to inform higher ranks of information & advice if they have any. They are allowed to request to become a Padawan to a Knight or Master, as only Padawans are allowed to be instructed to eventually take the Knight Trials (see "Jedi Padawan").

This Constitution is an old one. It was used during most of 2006. The "Adding to the Jedi Constitution" was in this one, which was complicating things, so the Council decided to make a whole New Constitution without it to fix that. This is also before Forum Librarian, Jedi Archivist, and Student Trials Corrector. Padawan was also added after this as a rank of its own.

The Pre-Trials is something that is no longer used. It was used in the beginning of 2006 to tell new visitors if the Jedi Path was right for them. It also divided up the work so the Trial Corrector would not be overwhelmed.

    Pre-Trials

You should take the Pre-Trials before taking the Trials.

Send your answers by e-mail to Jedi Knight Bioness. His e-mail for this is: [email protected]

    Pre-Trial Questions:

    1. What would you do to help the order and the Community in which you live in as a Jedi?

    2. As a Jedi, many responsibilities are put on yourself. How would you deal with these responsibilities?

    3. What would you do to convince the council and the other Jedi in this order you are ready?

    4. Jedi is a self sacrificing decision that cannot be taken lightly, what would you sacrifice to become a Jedi? why?

    5. What do you hope to accomplish in becoming a Jedi?

    6. Respect is important in the order, How would you show respect to your elders in rank?

    7. How will you portray yourself as a Jedi?

    8. Jedi, although they can be powerful in the Force, do not want to accomplish power. How would you deal with this new power you may obtain?

    9. Why do you believe you should be a Jedi?

    10. Please give me your answer to this scenario:

You and your master are in training. He tells you to do something against the will of the Council, and he has shown you something that you believe to be of the Sith. he tells you he has become a Sith and plans to destroy the Order. What do you do?
A- Inform the council of this plan and help them destroy this Sith.
B- Tell your master that you know he is a Sith and you want to join him.
C- Allow the council to find out for themselves for they ARE the council members.
D- Destroy your master before he can do anything.
E- Tell another Jedi of your masters betrayal to the order and defeat him together.
F- Try to persuade him of his error.
G- Do nothing and pretend you didn't know.
