Welcome to our web site! The Murray Hill Speakers Club is a Distinguished Club! Visit us as a guest to find out how we run our meetings and to decide if you'd like to join our club.

Murray Hill Speakers is a community-based club with members from communities surrounding Murray Hill, New Jersey. Our meetings provide a forum for learning effective communication and leadership skills. As a Toastmaster, you will practice the necessary skills to become a better speaker, evaluator, and leader.

Our weekly meeting agenda includes many opportunities to speak extemporaneously and to present prepared speeches. Our new members are mentored by our most experienced members and educational support is provided by the Vice President of Education.

Feedback is provided via speech evaluations in a supportive atmosphere. Most of all, we have lots of fun! Learn more about our club.

"Oh, deity (or deities) of our personal choosing, please shine favorably upon this group as we are about to meet. Grant us the ability to speak clearly and with wisdom. May our words be filled with inspiration, and may our delivery be sure and engaging. Deliver us from the evil of improper grammar, and guide us safely through the valley of the shadow of nervousness. We pray that our oratory offerings are pleasing to your ears and that our shared voices make us not only better speakers, but better friends."       Stephen Fried  (Club member)
