Communication and Leadership Tracks
The Toastmasters education program consists of two
tracks:
A new member will start with the Communication track,
which emphasizes speaking and listening skills.
Once the Competent Toastmaster (CTM) level has been
achieved, a Toastmaster may decide to challenge himself or
herself to participate in a leadership track.
At this level, a Toastmaster can work on both tracks
at the same time, providing the best opportunity to excel
at both communication and leadership.
The Communication track progressively follows this path:
- New Member
- Competent Toastmaster (CTM)
- Advanced Toastmaster Bronze (ATM-B)
- Advanced Toastmaster Silver (ATM-S)
- Advanced Toastmaster Gold (ATM-G)
- Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM)
The Leadership track follows this path:
- New Member
- Competent Toastmaster (CTM)
- Competent Leader (CL)
- Advanced Leader(AL)
