I am in Evanston because I played two shows with The Jesters this weekend. I am in the computer lab because I came here to look for my pal Yoel
. I am doing an update because Yoel was not here and it is nice to have quick 'net access. I am using the June color scheme because I only used it a few times anyway, plus I am to lazy to change it. Now you know
The shows this weekend were cool. It was kind of difficult being there without rosemary. [I sure am going crazy on the links right now]You see, there were many tims where the people sitting at the table were Jomo and his girlfriend Erin, Martin and his fiancee Victoria, and our new bass player Jay and his wife (!) Cat. And I wanted for it to be me and my honey popper Rosemary, too, but alas, she's in Texas and I am here playing crappy shows to a few friends and people who don't care (although one guy said "that was funky as a motherfucker!" i liked that. :-)
So the bastards at Yahoo! have taken over Geocities. I wonder if I'll lose my account for saying that. Maybe I should copy the files to disk or something.
Man, I wish I had more to say. I may go see my pal goth girl in about a week, as well as the kids that i taught last summer at Summerbridge . There's a chance that I may go up the second week in August instead. Either way, I hope to go see those kiddies. They rule.
It's kinda cool being here in the summer. It's like, I am in a place I know well and a place I love, but I don't have the normal pace of life., the nagging "i need to go write a paer/ study for a test/ blah blah blah" that I am used to feeling. Actually, I am feeling some of that reflexively. How twisted is that?
I gotta run. I feel like way too much of a computer geek sitting here right now.
