casualty etc. Free diet/food is given to all admitted patient as per advice
of the concerned doctors including special diets.
 | Blood bank is functioning round the clock (which not only serces hospital
but outside also and is a notified regional blood transfusion centre.)

 | Generator is functioning for critical areas in case the electrical fails.

Gynae and Obstetrics. ENT, Paediatrics, Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics, Dentle,
Skin & VD, Paediatrics Surgery, Burns & Plastic Surgery etc.
 | The facilities of associated GB Pant Hospital are available.
 | The staff Includes doctors nurses, paramedical, clerical and class lV.
 | A senitary Superintendent alongwith sanitary officer are deployed to
ensure general cleanliness and avoid hospital acquired infections.
 | The faculty of associated Maulana Azad Medical college, attached to the
hospilal,

LABORATORIES RESULT
 | Quality is ensured in the various lab investigations including x-rays.
 | The maximum waiting time at any of the counters is 30 minutes usually
while waiting for some investigation may take longer if there is
overcrowding . (specially on Mondays)
 | The report is available within 3 working days for most of the
investigations.
 | The report is sent to the concerned clinic for the perusal of the doctor
concerned. (usually next OPD day of the doctor concemed )
 | In case of delay/loss of report the concerned lab can he approached in the
afternoon (2-4PM)
 | In case the problem persists the concerned incharge can be appraised of
the situation. |

OPERATION FACILITIES
 | Operation theatres work 9AM to 4 PM besides emergency OT's which function
round the clock.
 | The patient is listed for surgery (A date is given : it varies depending
on, load but not more than 30 days usually) after the patient is seen in the
OPD and anaesthetic check-up is done.
 | The equipment and most of the items are the best available and provided
free of cost.
 | Rarely when there is a unusual item the patient 'elatives are asked to
bring the item otherwise we are supposed to have everything all the time.
 | Blood required for planned Surgery is made available on replacement basis
while in emergency the same maybe provided without donor in exceptional
circumstances. |

REGISTRATION AND MEDICAL RECORDS
 | Every Patient, which is admitted, is registered and case sheet made free
of charge.
 | A Central Registration Number( CR No. ) is given for admitted patients.
Medico-legal cases am given a MLC No. which is same as casualty No. with MLC
Mark.
 | Medical records department is keeping the records for 10 years and
attendance in courts is ensured by this department in public interest.
 | LIC cases, corrections in the Birth and Death certificates and
countersignature of the medical bills for reimbursement are also done here
within shortest possible time.
 | Efforts are being made to computerise the registration and medical records
department which will facilflate enquiries and the functioning will be
streamlined. |

PHARMACY
 | Qualified Pharmacist are handling drugs and ensure potency and quality of
the drugs.The pharmacy functions round the clock.
 | Every effort is being made to ensure avaibbility Of drugs especially those
which are life saving.A separate counter exists for senior citizens.
 | The pharmacy have different queue to reduce waiting time ( Max waiting at
pharmacy 15·20 min). There is counter for Sunday special clinic too.
 | The drugs are explained properiy at the time of dispensing also. |
