Playing Without Depositing! No doubt about it, it is very hard to play PE without depositing money. However, there have been players who have never deposited, and now are quite wealthy in the game. To do this, requires some real skill however. Even if you do deposit, you really don't want to spend that much money on a game (it can be a lot, trust me), so everyone should learn about these sources of free money in the game. Mind Arc and other players have created some ways for players to acquire some funds without depositing. But none of them are both easy and fun. I will briefly describe them here, but to learn the specifics, go to the Details page. Sweating Difficulty Rating: Very Easy Availability: Very High Boredom level: Very High Profitability: Very Low This is done by locating some mobs that are not too nasty, and using your mental power to suck up some of their sweat. YES, it does sound gross, but I promise, you won't need a shower afterwards. Find the right mobs, and it is a piece of cake to do it, and it is free money. Not only that, but you are also getting MindForce skills which will help you later in the game (much later). On the down side, it takes about a minute to make a sweating attempt, and most of them will be unsuccessful. When you do succeed, you get 1 to 3 bottles of sweat. A bottle of sweat sells for 1.7 to 2.0 PECs (that is cents for those that did not read the terms page). So, while easy, it is about as much fun as watching your grandfather trim his nose hairs. Where do you find good Mobs to sweat?... see the Details page. Running Difficulty Rating: Moderate Availability: Very Low Boredom level: Very Low Profitability: Moderate - Good Basically, you are Bait For Hire. You run up to Mobs, tap them on the shoulder, and then run your little orange jumpsuit off. This lets a hunter kill a mob, without it attacking him. (and hopefully before it kills you). It can be hard to find hunters that have a need for a runner, but they are out there. Often they will give you a percentage of whatever loot they get, or may pay you a fixed price. To improve your chances of finding runner jobs, make sure you have collected all your TPs. To learn how to be a good runner, see the Details page. Medic Difficulty Rating: Easy Availability: Very Low Boredom level: Moderate Profitability: Low - Moderate Medic! Man Down! well, not exactly. This job is a variation of the Runner job. Only, in this variation, the hunter stands his ground (typically with a melee weapon) and goes face to face with the Mob, while you heal him from behind (with the FAP that he lends you, or your own, if you have one). Oil Rig Difficulty Rating: Very Hard Availability: Moderate Boredom level: Very Low Profitability: Good In the middle of the PVP area in the South East quadrant, well south of Nymphtown, is an old Oil Rig that occasionally spits out barrels of oil. Although the area is PVP, most players there are usually kind to noobs. The real problem is all the Atrox Guardians running around. This makes Oil Rigging a very frustrating experience. If you avoid the Troxes, you still have to be quick on the mouse to grab the oil faster than all the others out there who want it. When you see the oil on the ground, right click on it before anyone else to grab it. Fade made 20 PED on one grab once. ; P Trade Representative Difficulty Rating: Moderate Availability: Moderate Boredom level: High Profitability: Low There are many players that don't enjoy trading. If you can prove yourself to be trustworthy and honest. They may just let you sell their stuff for them, giving you a perecantage of the profits. This is also great training and exposure to some day set up your own trade business. To do this well, requires that you do a lot of research into the Entropia economy, and human nature as well. One of my disciples turned out to be so good at this, that he has more money than I do now (though he does not have my toys or skills ;) Other Enterprises You are only limited by your Imagination. Set your mind to it, and you may discover a new way to make money. |
